Ne Zha 2 release date in India: Highest-grossing animated film to hit screens here in April; know all about it
Ne Zha 2 is an animated Chinese film that earned over $2 billion at the box office. Here's when it will be released in India.
Director Jiaozi’s animated Chinese film Ne Zha 2 will be released in India this summer. The record-breaking animated Mandarin film was made on a budget of $80 million and it went on to collect more than $2 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing animated film, beating Inside Out 2. Ne Zha 2 to be released in India
Co-Distributors Encore Films and Warner Bros. Discovery, India announced on Thursday that Ne Zha 2 will be released in cinemas on April 25. The film will be released in Mandarin with English subtitles.

We are thrilled to present this captivating blockbuster to Indian audiences in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. The film’s official synopsis reads, “After the heavenly lightning, although Ne Zha and Ao Bing survived by becoming Spirits, they would soon dissipate completely. Taiyi plans to rebuild Ne Zha and Ao Bing’s mortal bodies with the Seven-colored Precious Lotus. However, during the process of reconstruction, numerous obstacles arise. What will become of the fate of Ne Zha and Ao Bing?”
Ne Zha 2 has enjoyed critical acclaim and box office success since its release on January 29 this year. It is the first animated film to cross the $2 billion mark and is also the fifth highest-grossing film of all time.
