Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an angry woman these days. And she wants to shout from the rooftop that a news story, published by a Mumbai tabloid, claiming that the actress is unable to conceive as she is suffering from stomach tuberculosis, is totally baseless. “I am absolutely fine... rocking,” the Bollywood beauty was seen saying loud and repeatedly at an award function hosted by NDTV in the Capital on Wednesday.

Ash, who was named the Entertainment Icon at the event, said, “Please don’t pay heed to reports about my ill-health. This time, the media has really gone overboard with the whole thing. And I doubt if anyone even knows anything about the disease I am supposed to be suffering from!”

Getting visibly upset with anyone who brought up her health issue, the actress said, “Abhishek had to clarify for me. Do people even know the difference between stomach and womb to be saying this?”

Ash, who was accompanied by parents-in-law Jaya and Amitabh at the function, explained husband Abhishek’s absence and said, “Abhi didn’t want to miss the function. Our family tries to spend as much time as possible together. But he’s busy working double shift.”
