Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm and partner Thomas Starr have become proud parents of a baby girl.

The 35-year-old singer welcomed daughter Scarlet Starr on February 22 at a hospital in London.

"Melanie C gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 4:10 pm on Sunday 22nd February,” the Daily Express quoted as written on Mel C’s official website.

“Both Mum and baby, named Scarlet Starr, are doing fine," the website added.
