Johansson loses at Hugh Jackman's auction

We Bought a Zoo star Scarlett Johansson was left disappointed after losing a bidding war for Hugh Jackman's T-shirt following a performance of his Broadway show.

Jackman is currently performing his one-man musical in New York and he has been staging regular post-show auctions to raise money for charity.

Johansson, 27, was in the audience along with fellow Hollywood star Uma Thurman, and she joined in the bidding when Jackman offered up his T-shirt, reported New York Post.

The Lost In Translation star climbed onstage with the actor and put down USD 3,000 in a bid to claim the garment.

However, the actress lost out as the shirt sold for USD 30,000.
