Kim Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner has made it clear that her soon-to-be single daughter will keep hold of her 2 million-dollar engagement ring even after the divorce.

According to sources, Kris Humphries was hoping to get the 20.5-carat diamond ring back after the split, according to sources.

"It’s a gift - you keep a gift," the Daily Mail quoted Jenner as saying.

"I hate an Indian giver," she said.

The phrase ‘Indian giver’, which describes a person who gives a present and later wants it back, has enraged a number of American Indians who consider the remark to be offensive.
