Actor Kamal Rashid Khan has alleged that he was "harassed by two Marathi officers at the Mumbai airport for two hours" on Monday morning. Khan, best known for his film Deshdrohi and his stint on TV show Bigg Boss, was returning from Dubai and claims the incident happened because he hails from Uttar Pradesh and has a passport issued there.

Khan, also known as KRK, alleges that immigration officers misbehaved with him: “They told me to go back to UP. They abused me, manhandled me, held me by the collar. They said they’ll put me in jail with a drug offence since I had made a film against Marathis and that I’ll come to my senses and leave Mumbai after being jailed for six months.”

KRK says he will speak with his lawyers and his politician friends, to decide what action to take. Despite repeated attempts, airport officials were unavailable for comment.
