Jazzy Bollywood numbers and freshers dressed as ‘angels’ were the highlight on Day 3 of HT City’s Fresh on Campus at Institute of Home Economics (IHE), Hauz Khas.

DJ Sumit Sethi’s dance session was the perfect ice breaker and saw freshers dance to the tunes of the latest Bollywood numbers. “This is fun. I never thought that my college would suddenly turn into a big dance floor,” said Nupur Sethi, a first year student.

But it wasn’t fun just for the fuchchas, the seniors, too, added zing to the party and presented a fashion show. The much awaited event, however, was Diva of the Day, where first year student Mehak Dhir, was declared the winner after three rounds — ramp walk, talent round and Q&As.

Students participated in huge numbers when it came to the T-shirt design contest. The participants were asked to draw their thoughts on Delhi’s completion of 100 years as the Capital city. Three students with the best designs were awarded and treated to a lavish lunch.
