Hollywood star Eilzabeth Hurley, 45, has spoken up about her split with textile tycoon Indian husband of four years, Arun Nayar. The actor-model, who parted ways with Nayar, 50, in December last year courtesy an on-off romance with Australian spinner Shane Warne, says there’s nothing bitter about their separation.

“Arun and I decided to part ways last October. We still get on really well though, and spend lot of time together,” says Hurley, who had filed for divorce this month, citing Nayar’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ as the cause. She says her nine-year-old son is putting up a brave face. “Damian has coped with the changes really well. He’s a very loving, well-adjusted little boy and both Arun and I are very proud of him.”

Staying tight-lipped on her current love life, she says, “Arun plays a major role in Damian’s life and is taking him to India for a week during the Easter holidays at the end of this month.”

Liz shares a special connection with the country. “I love India, espcially going to Rajasthan. I go berserk buying textiles and antiques,” she says adding that she loves gorging on “that butter lentil dish (dal makhni) and tandoori crab”.

The actor, who has guest-edited a section of wellness glossy AsiaSpa India, also loves Bollywood. “Arun and I once shot a video where we did our version of five famous Bollywood dance routines. It was hysterical!”
