Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a few months back and the actress had taken off to the US immediately for treatment. Hailing from a politically prominent family in Nepal, Manisha staked her claim in Bollywood with films like Saudagar, 1942: A Love Story, Bombay and many others.

The actress, who recently underwent treatment for ovarian cancer in New York, is well on her road to recovery. In fact she even tweeted a few photos of her, with her head covered by turban and a hat, letting her well wishers know that she wasn't giving in to cancer.

The 42 year old actress seems to be dealing with the tiresome and straining chemotherapy quite well. Currently in the US, Manisha will stay there for another six months.
