Synopsis: A second-generation Sikh in London, Parghat Singh Kahlon (Akshay Kumar) has been working at a corner store for several years. His once-cherished dream is now a forgotten thought as it was conflicting with his fathers’ aspirations for him.
He watches his father rule a house, a family, a community like he has for the last 25 years. He silently tolerates the snide remarks and insults passed by a younger generation. However, one girl changes all of that. She infuses in him, the strength to stand up for his dreams, inspite of his fathers’ opposition. He will finally summon the courage and start a movement that will shake the very foundations of Patiala House.
