My hubby didn’t know I was an actor: Kainaz Motivala

Kainaz Motivala, who got her big break in Bollywood with Ragini MMS, got married to her lawyer boyfriend Urvaksh Doctor recently, and will now relocate to Singapore, where Urvaksh is based.

“We met one and a half years ago through common friends. We have been in a long distance relationship, though Sometimes he used to come to Mumbai and I used to visit him in Singapore. But we couldn’t see each other much so, it seemed like the right thing to do and I am very happy,” says Kainaz, who has changed her last name to Doctor now.

The couple had a simple ceremony in Ahmedabad attended only by family.

“We wanted a very simple ceremony as we are both very private people. I had never even spoken about my relationship to the media,” says the 27-year-old, adding, “When we met, Urvaksh had no idea I was an actor, though he had seen my film Wake Up Sid. Then I made him watch my other films and he really liked them,” says the actor, who will come down to Mumbai “if a good offer comes along.”
