Narrow escape for Emraan Hashmi

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi met with an accident during the shooting of his upcoming film 'Crook' on the Melbourne freeway but he luckily escaped without injuries.

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi met with an accident during the shooting of his upcoming film 'Crook' on the Melbourne freeway but he luckily escaped without injuries.

The 31-year-old actor was driving at a high speed and couldn't afford to swerve, so he hit the camera which broke into pieces.

"Shooting on a Melbourne freeway Emraan has a miraculous escape! Since Emran was driving at great speed he couldn't afford to swerve, so went over the camera which smashed into pieces," wrote filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt on his Twitter page.

"Emraan was driving at the speed of 60 km. His car went 2 ft off the ground after hiting the camera. Luckily the car didn't go off the road (sic)," he added.

'Crook: It's Good To Be Bad' is a film on racial attacks on Indian students down under directed by Mohit Suri.
