Actor Neetu Chandra has trashed reports of her going commando at a recent public event. An article published on a popular entertainment website claimed that Neetu Chandra did a Yana Gupta by appearing panty-less at an event last week in Mumbai.

Her publicist Dale Bhagwagar said, “Neetu is a girl with dignity and there has been no slip like this.” The website had reported that she replicated Yana Gupta’s panty-less act and said that it seemed to be “intentional and she might have followed it after seeing the amount of publicity Yana Gupta garnered by doing the same.”

She dismissed the report as a case of mis-reporting and even planned to take legal action against the website. “Neetu does not need to resort to any such thing for publicity. In fact, she got so upset with this frivolous piece of news that she was not just planning to initiate legal action but also was in the process of approaching the National Commission of Women (NCW), when the site tendered an unconditional apology for the news.”
