Neha Dhupia has pledged her support to Concern India Foundation with an objective of ‘Helping People Help Themselves’. Concern India works on the three core issues of education, health and community development.The actor and the organisation both strongly believe that the disadvantaged need opportunities, not charity.
This year, Dhupia will be supporting the cause by running the Mumbai Marathon . Former Miss India has taken up this cause as she feels strongly about the importance of education and women’s empowerment in the country’s progress.“I am trying to do my little bit at this year's Mumbai Marathon. I feel strongly about the importance of education and women’s empowerment for my country’s progress. Concern India does some really meaningful work for the underprivileged and I have decided to support their efforts.”
