As the nation celebrates Team India’s conquest of the number one slot, as of now, in the test cricket rankings, Bollywood too is overjoyed. Status messages on celebrities’ social networking sites changed to reflect that stars, known for fighting over the numero uno slot in tinsel town, are unanimously hailing the Boys in Blue.

Actors Aamir Khan and Priyanka Chopra were the first to express their excitement online. Aamir settled the number one debate by updating his Facebook status as — “No more questions on who is no. 1... The Indian Cricket Team.” Priyanka tweeted: “Go Indian test cricket team for being world #1 !!!!!!!!”

Other B-town hotties too can’t stop raving about the feat. Actress Koena Mitra says, “Proud would be an understatement for what our team has achieved.” Actress Kim Sharma, rumoured to be back in a relationship with cricketer Yuvraj Singh says “The spirit of our team as well as the masses is something no other country has. They have made us proud and how!!” Actress Minissha Lamba says, “It’s absolutely great news. Our team always had great players. It was just a matter of time.”

The celebrities don’t miss out on mentioning their favourites. Filmmaker Kunal Kohli says, “Due credit should be given to Rahul Dravid since he has been consistent the entire year and led others to flourish.” Sameera Reddy says, “Dhoni is one of the canniest and most confident captains around. It may have taken 75 years but in the end, mission is accomplished.”
