Portia takes Ellen’s last name
Hollywood actor Portia De Rossi, who married gay partner, TV host Ellen DeGeneres, in California in 2008, had filed paperwork to take DeGeneres’ name last month.

Hollywood actor Portia De Rossi, who married gay partner, TV host Ellen DeGeneres, in California in 2008, had filed paperwork to take DeGeneres’ name last month.
On Thursday, a Los Angeles judge approved the change, making De Rossi’s offical name ‘Portia Lee James DeGeneres.’
