movies for more than ten years, Hollywood star Daniel Radcliffe has developed a "morbid" obsession - he is fascinated with death.
The 21-year-old actor who shot to overnight fame playing the wizard kid, Harry Potter in the hit franchise, feels that growing up on the sombre sets and reading about sorcery might have contributed to his interest in macabre things,
Contactmusic
reported.
The British actor insisted that he was reminded of his own mortality while shooting a major scene in
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
, in which his character confronts death.
"I'm possibly a very morbid person, but I think about death a lot. I don't know if it's maybe from being in films, or from playing Harry, but I just think it's a natural thing that I have. It's fascinating in a very alien kind of way," said the blue-eyed actor.
"My experience of death is quite limited, thankfully. But in that scene... when you're faced with death, that's all you can think about," he added.
