Rahman’s US tour postponed

After the musician was forced to cancel his Detroit show on June 19, following an infrastructural collapse, he has now had to postpone the rest of the North American leg of his tour too.

There’s more bad news for AR Rahman fans in the US and Canada. After the musician was forced to cancel his Detroit show on June 19, following an infrastructural collapse, he has now had to postpone the rest of the North American leg of his tour too.

Journey Home Tour will now resume in Europe, on July 16, in Zurich. New dates will soon be announced for the 10 North American cities he was to perform in. Says Rahman, “We are working to recoup all that has been lost (the lights, the sets), which will take us over three weeks to complete. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused our friends.”
