Rahman wins Filmfare best background score for Jodha Akbar

Double Oscar Award winner AR Rahman, who recently had sweeped many global award functions for his mesmerising score for Slumdog Millionaire, has bagged the Filmfare Award for best background score.

The much-awaited Filmfare Awards ceremony has begun in Mumbai with the show being hosted be new comers Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Initially, Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to host the show but that was later changed due to his shoulder surgery.
