After beating his wife black and blue, Rahul Mahajan now wants to get to the root of his anger. Along with his wife Dimpy, Rahul Mahajan has enrolled for counselling sessions from Dr Sachin Patkar and his psychologist wife Dr Varsha Patkar.
After the incident, the duo had a heart-to-heart conversation and decided to take psychologist's help to sort out their issues.
"We had a heart to heart conversation and realised that we needed to go in for counselling," said Rahul. "We realised that our problems were too big for us to handle alone," Dimpy said.
According to Dr Sachin, Rahul's pent-up-anger lead to the beating incident. He tells a daily, "Rahul has been under stress for a long time now and his behaviour was the result of his pent up angst.""People often believe that they have dealt with their stress, but that may not be the case. We tend to sweep our feelings under the carpet," said Dr Sachin. "But our suppressed emotions catch up with us sooner or later," he added. "Rahul has been through a lot in the last couple of years and his reaction to an SMS that Dimpy had received was beyond his control," said Dr Sachin.
Rahul's wife Dimpy, meanwhile, feels that she shouldn't have gone to the media. She's now willing to extend full support to husband Rahul.
Good luck Rahul, Dimpy!
