The pop music sensation has been asked by Instagram to abide by their posting guidelines and refrain from sharing photos that show nudity or mature content.

In a letter to Madonna, which she posted on Instagram , the site alleges that the singer violated the site's community guidelines, the New York Post reports.

The rules, outlined in the letter, stated that users should not post photos that aren't yours or share photos that show nudity or mature content.

The letter does not specify what Madonna posted to prompt the warning, the report said.
