R&B singer Rihanna has sparked rumours of romance with baseball player Matt Kemp after the two were spotted smooching in Mexico. However, Kemp’s representative denies they are an item, insisting they are good friends.



"I think dating may be a stretch at this point," the New York Daily News quoted agent Dave Stewart as saying. "They are in Cabo, but past that they are just good friends," he added.

Meanwhile, the Umbrella hitmaker has admitted that even though the physical bruises she suffered from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s assault have disappeared, the emotional scars still pain her.

The incident took place the night before the Grammys in February last year.

"The physical pain comes and it goes. The bruises fade away. But the emotional scars stay with you," she told a magazine.
