Surprisingly Johansson, 24, had happily appeared in numerous plays as a child actress, but now she admits that she has to overcome the phobia of performing live first before she gets on stage. “I would love to work on Broadway, but I don’t know that it would manifest itself in musical theatre... I have terrible stage fright that I’d have to get over,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling America’s Glamour magazine.

“[It is] crippling. It came on when I was a teenager, and I think it somehow sticks with you,” she added.
