The 25-year-old Spanish footballer announced the happy news in a tweet to his 4.7 million followers on Thursday, December 27, Us magazine reported.



The message, which was written in Spanish, read "Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thanks to all for your messages."



The couple first revealed that they were expecting back in September, via Facebook.
