Singer Arijit Singh confirms that he is married
Arijit Singh, of Aashiqui-fame, has confirmed the news of his marriage with Koel Roy. Interestingly, this is Arijit’s second marriage as he was previously married to one of his co-contestants from a reality show.
Recently, rumours said that singer Arijit Singh, who is the current blue-eyed boy of Bollywood’s playback scene, got married to his childhood sweetheart Koel Roy.
When we tried to get in touch with the singer then, he remained unavailable for comment and confirmation.
But, the singer recently confirmed this news by posting his wedding picture on a social networking site.
Interestingly, this is Arijit’s second marriage as he was previously married to one of his co-contestants from a reality show.
’s current wife Koel was also previously married and has a four-year- old daughter, who is very fond of Arijit.
Earlier, in September 2013, the singer was arrested for manhandling a journalist at Baharampur district court near his hometown.
The had lost his cool after the journalist had asked him details about his divorce case. Arijit reportedly was given bail the very next day. The couple got married in a quiet ceremony which took place in Tarapith temple, West Bengal on 20th January 2014.
