Sleep is the new sex in Britain

You may not get an honest answer if you popped the question directly, but a fascinating survey has suggested that most Britons, including men, would choose a good night's sleep over a night of passion. You may not get an honest answer if you popped the question directly, but a fascinating survey has suggested that most Britons, including men, would choose a good night's sleep over a night of passion.

For men it's still a matter of male pride to at least pretend to be a stud. But the truth is much less racy.

The juggling act seems to have become too exhausting. The economic downturn hasn't helped matter. Money worries, redundancy and fear of loss of jobs aren't the best aphrodisiacs.

According to the survey, around 80 per cent of Britons crave for a good night's kip rather than hours of lust.

According to the report in the Mail online, its not that people don't want it - it's just that sex just seems like another thing on the long list of 'Things To Do' after a long day either commuting to the office, wrestling kids in and out of school uniform, cooking, shopping or worrying about paying the bills. Sleep is the new sex.
