The nightclub which was earlier known as Poison was owned by close friends of Sanjay Dutt.

The club ran into trouble when the local authorities wanted to shut it, calling it a “nuisance”.

Shilpa and her husband Raj acquired a stake in it on it’s reopening under a new name in December 2009. The stake has now been bought by Sohail Khan.

Shilpa Shetty's other business ventures include a wellness spa chain called Iosis and her own brand of healthy curries and poppadoms in Britain.
