Sonam apologises to Shobhaa De

Sonam Kapoor who once called Shobhaa De a 'porn writer' had recently retweeted a rude comment made by her IHLS director Punit Malhotra. The actress, however, realised that she had gone too far.

This is what she wrote: "Mrs De I owe you an apology for getting personal. I'm ashamed for my momentary lapse in judgement. And apologetic.. Every writer and journalist and audience are entitled to their opinion and I respect that."

Pissed off by Shobhaa De's harsh review of IHLS, director Punit Malhotra wrote a rude comment on his Twitter page,

"Shobhaa De is a fossil going through menopause. She doesn't get action. Going by her logic, should I be spanking Shobhaa if I don't like what she writes?"

Sonam retweeted Punit's comment on her own Twitter page, but later realised she shouldn't have done it.
