Rakhi Sawant once again declares herself the ‘first wife of Bigg Boss’ as she entered Bigg Boss Marathi as challenger.

Even as rumours suggested her entry into the 16th season of Salman Khan's ongoing reality show Bigg Boss, Rakhi Sawant has entered the fourth season of Bigg Boss Marathi. In a promo shared online by the channel, Rakhi is seen entering the Bigg Boss Marathi 4 house along with former contestants of Bigg Boss Marathi. Aroh Welankar - who was part of the second season of Bigg Boss Marathi, Mira Jagannath from the third season, and Bigg Boss Marathi 3 winner Vishal Nikam. ()

The promo also shows Rakhi telling everyone, “I am the mother for you all. I am the first wife of Bigg Boss.” She often calls herself the wife of Bigg Boss as she was part of the first season of Bigg Boss in the year 2006 when Arshad Warsi was the host.

Rakhi had a controversial stint on the show that also had Rahul Roy, Ravi Kishan, Rupali Ganguly, and Kashmera Shah, among others. Rakhi was the third runner-up that year.

Rakhi returned as a challenger on Bigg Boss 14 in 2020 and ended up as the fourth runner-up. She was also a wild card contestant in Bigg Boss 15 last year and fought her way up to the final week.

Ever since Bigg Boss 16 started earlier this year, Rakhi has been vocal about her wish to join the show.

Last week, Rakhi celebrated her 44th birthday with her boyfriend Adil Khan. Adil celebrated her birthday in the presence of paparazzi on November 25 and even gave her a kiss and hug when she cut her birthday cake. Rakhi and Adil began dating earlier this year, after she announced her separation from Ritesh. She had introduced Ritesh as her husband during her Bigg Boss 15 stint.
