Actor Urvashi Sharma fears for her life. The 26-year-old actor, best known for her stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi, Season 3, has been getting threatening calls from the family of her former driver and has asked the Mumbai police for protection.
The actor fired her driver, Sanjay, last month when she found her phone, camera and a diamond ring missing. The driver was arrested by the Mumbai police after she filed a report against him.
"I got a call from his hometown Bihar last week and the caller said, ‘Hum tujhe uthwa lenge. Pata hai tumhari maa kahan rehti hai (We’ll have you kidnapped, we know where your mother stays)," she says, adding that they warned her to withdraw the case against Sanjay.
"On Tuesday, I went to the police station and have asked for protection. Even though my bodyguard is with me all the time, I feel I need it," she adds.
She adds that Sanjay, who had been with her for four years, also threatened to harm her. "I had helped him financially and even let him use my car as a taxi to earn extra bucks. But when I caught him stealing, he told my bodyguard that he would go to press and ruin my reputation," she says.
