“It was a disaster but I love to experiment. I’ve tried everything from chocolate chicken to strawberries in mushroom soup and peanuts in brinjal. My friends love my cheese omelettes,” the actor asserted during a cooking session with Italian chef Orianna Tirabassi of Mezzo Mezzo.

“On a date, I’d love to cook Italian, ending the meal with a sumptuous dessert that’s heavy on alcohol.”

In an apron and a chef’s hat, Kohli flipped the pan for the camera. “If you cook well, you look good,” he grinned, as he served the pasta, pizza and salad from the new menu to the critics of the day, the actor-producer of his upcoming film I Am, Sanjay Suri, co-producer-director Onir, and co-actor Juhi Chawla. The trio was impressed.

I Am is being previewed at the New York Film Festival and Kohli is on a career high.
