American pop star and fashion icon Rihanna's controversial sheer dress at the CFDA Awards may have impressed a great many people but we think Peter Griffin simply nailed it.

In the most epic case of 'who wore it better', animated series Family Guy's Peter Griffin was seen dazzling the twitterati in the bare-all dress.

The picture was tweeted by TBS at around 6am, Wednesday morning and has been retweeted 7000 times already.

Rihanna, however, has taken the parody sportingly and has made the picture her display image on her Twitter account. Her sense of humour deserves appreciation for many of us would wage a deadly war against the other woman - or in this case the man -- wearing the same dress as ours.

Perhaps Rihanna knew the way Peter looks, he would have won hands down.

The pop star also tweeted a picture of Josephine Baker, on the latter's birthday juxtaposed with her own from the event. Baker was a famous singer and actor in early 1900s and the first woman of African-American origin in a major motion picture.
