Shilpa Shetty was hosting a part of the show with Karan Johar and could sit with hubby Kundra only up to a certain time.

Guess who was left sitting alone in the front rows at the IPL Awards, wonders Rapchik Rajni as she sinks into a beanbag in my study. Tell me about it and she says it was Raj Kundra. Nah, before you think his Mrs Shilpa Shetty was conspicuous by her absence, let me tell you that she had gone backstage.

Yeah, she was hosting a part of the show with Karan Johar and could sit with hubby Kundra only up to a certain time. Seems she had not got the time to rehearse with her filmmaker-cum-friend earlier, and didn’t want to go on stage without at least one rehearsal.

Yeh aur baat hai that she had to wait a while for K Jo, who was on stage and could join her only when a performance he was announcing, started. Till then, La Shetty got her make-up artist to do the touch-up at leisure, recalls Rajni. And when she finally went on stage, no prizes for guessing that Mr Kundra couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear. Hmmm.
