A trendy luncheon
It’s not everyday a concoction of ‘creative’ juices helps you beat the pre-summer heat.
At a special luncheon organised by HT City, lifestyle editors from top Indian media houses shared their thoughts on the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
The muted lighting and fine wine made Smoke House Grill at Masjid Moth the idyllic venue for the get-together. HT Special Projects Editor Vasantha Angamuthu and HT City Editor Sonal Kalra played hosts to NDTV Good Times’ Seema Chandra, Maxim India Editor Vivek Pareek, Marie Claire India Managing Editor Neena Haridas, HT Fashion Editor Vinod Nair, Men’s Health Editor Jamal Shaikh, People Delhi Bureau Chief Shashi Sunny, Hello! India’s Neeva Jain and Mail Today’s Lifestyle Editor Sourish Bhattacharya.

While Haridas named yellow the colour of the season, Nair added, “Oranges, lime green and even red are hot.” Jain said shorts should make a comeback on the runway, while Sheikh hoped “clothes that enhance your physical features” be a hit. Among designers Shashi hoped will make a statement are JJ Valaya, Namrata Joshipura and the “new crop”.
