Adarsh on collection
“This is my first showcase with FDCI. My collection is very retro and sophisticated. I have used French laces, chiffons, brocades and georgettes. We have very nice gowns, western dresses, beautiful lehengas. We have used different kinds of embroideries. Techniques like zardozi and hand knitting has been incorporated,” the designer told HT.

The collection was a blend of Indian and western styles with saris and lehengas on one hand, while fitted gowns, mini dresses, cigarette pants and beaded jackets on the other.
Flowing silhouettes, short trails and elaborate drapes were used prominently.

Lots of shimmer, stones and Swarovski elements were used.
Models were accessorised with lots of ethnic jewellery and matching clutches. Hair was tied loosely in a bun giving a slight messy look from behind.
