Buying jewellery from exhibitions

Here are some tips on buying jewellery.
1
Authenticity:
Always looks for certification from reputed institutes like IGI (International Gemmology Institute) or GIA (Gemology Institute of America). This will give authenticity to your purchase.
2
Cost:
Do not buy very expensive jewellery from an exhibition unless it’s from a reputed stall or you have purchased stuff from them earlier. This way your risk will be minimum.
3
Trust:
Do not buy solitaires from a random stall in an exhibition. If you do, ensure that the number inscribed on the guarantee certificate matches with the one inscribed on the solitaire.
4
Quality:
Colour wise D, E, F, G and H and clarity wise VVS, VS are best to ensure that you get the best quality jewellery. Avoid going for I and J colour and SI clarity.
5
Trends and taste:
Go for trends that will last a lifetime. For instance, invisible setting of ruby, emerald or sapphire looks beautiful and have an everlasting appeal.
