FASHION REPORT: Did Priyanka, Deepika, Katrina impress?

Bollywood is all about style and glamour. Being a celebrity comes with the responsibility of looking chic ALL THE TIME! Or at least at special events like film promotions or launches. While some celebrities have nailed the art, others are still struggling (badly). Aditi Caroli writes.

We check out the ruling divas of B-Town at their recent public appearances:

Deepika Padukone
Deepika looked vivacious in a pinkish-red Halston Heritage pleated dress at a promotional event of her upcoming film Cocktail in Gurgaon. The dress was very summery and the Padukone girl looked radiant. Although Deepika didn't get to flaunt her curves in the free-flowing number, this was a refreshing change from her usual tank tops and shorts combo.

Priyanka Chopra

Piggy Chops looked stunning in a little blue dress at the launch of Digital Direct Broadcasting in Mumbai. The haute dress started with hugging the bust and ended beautifully in a flowy silhouette. PC has the body and doesn't ever mind flaunting it. But this was a break from her typical figure-hugging (breathless) attires.

Katrina Kaif

While everyone is experimenting with new styles, Katrina disappointed us (again) in a boring Roland Mouret dress at Ek Tha Tiger promotional event in Mumbai. The dull light-bluish colour is totally against the rules of summer dressing! Plus the length of her dress- all the way down to her knees- added to the boredom. The dress did highlight her curvy figure but did nothing to enhance her look. Kat is known to be a simple and safe dresser but this was totally a put off!
