A contingent of desi designers are going to London to promote Indian fashion.

A contingent of desi designers are going to London to promote Indian fashion. Smartly called the Indian Premiere London Fashion Week (IPLFW), the event is inviting 30 Indian designers — both established and new talent — to showcase their designs from April 9 to 14 at the Old Truman Brewery.

The event is being organised by Idea Weavers in association with Elite Model Management, Stockholm. Vivek Agarwal, chief events coordinator, Idea Weavers, said, “Indian designers have all the talent and by this event we’ll try to get business to designers, models and buyers. We’re talking to 30 top buyers and agents to be a part of this Autumn/Winter show."
