Fashion is a great unifier. It has an amazing ability to trump hatred and foster love and harmony. This shoot is a tribute to this very quality of fashion that binds people across cultures and creates compelling images of unity in diversity that remain unscathed even in the wildest of storms. On the occasion of Eid, we present to you fashion that refuses to conform, fashion that rebels to transcend all man-made boundaries. Shubh Eid, everyone!

Model Arnela Zekovic’s white tussar silk sari with tiny heart motifs has been draped over a red ruffled dress. Her Mughal nath and shauqband (hand harness) give her look the perfect Eid twist. Model Vishwaraj Singh wears an off-white circular kurta with chikankari work, teamed with beige churidaar and a floral Nehru jacket.

Model Aarav Ahuja’s draped kurta is teamed with flared pants and a belted Nehru jacket. Model Devika Das’s marigold necklace adds a quick pop of colour to her gold-beige skirt and kurti.

Model Devika Das pairs her emerald green Banarasi kurta with silk pants and temple inspired dangler earrings. Deep oxblood lips, soft smokey eyes and sleek hair complete the look.

Model Samiksha Singh wears a beige jacket paired with cigarette pants, an embroidered dupatta and an elaborate necklace with dainty Ganeshas. Model Amit Dahiya wears a sleek red kurta teamed with off-white churidaar and a wine red sherwani.

Model Gulpana Anwar Hussain wears a cotton sari with bright Kalamkari motifs. Her powder blue head scarf, slit bell sleeved blouse and retro glasses give her look a cool Audrey Hepburn vibe.
