Kate Moss to turn into a mannequin!
Come May and the supermodel will pose as a dummy to mark the launch of her clothing range, Topshop.fashion and trends Updated: Apr 30, 2007 13:31 IST
Supermodel Kate Moss is all set to play a mannequin to mark the launch of her Topshop range. Moss will be joining all the other dummies in the window when her clothing range goes on sale on May 1.
"Kate plans to pose as a mannequin. Her biggest problem will be not giggling among the dummies. When the red curtain is drawn back and Kate has been seen in some of her items, the doors will open and the outfits will officially go on sale,” the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.
The collection of 50 designs includes clothes, bags, shoes and belts, and prices range from 12 pounds for a vest top to 150 pounds for a cropped leather jacket. Clothes in the collection include skinny jeans, one-shoulder mini dresses and T-shirts with the letter K woven in to the design.
To avoid the clothes being auctioned online on launch day, the Topshop team has devised a scheme in which buyers will be restricted to five items each.
