Kate Middleton has been voted the top fashion buzzword of the upcoming season, thanks to the royal blue Issa dress she wore to her engagement announcement.
In the list prepared by Global Language Monitor (GLM), Kate dethroned Lady Gaga, who fell to No 2. Obama, Michelle Obama’s moniker as a fashion icon, moved back into the Top 10 after a lacklustre 2010.
Michelle was recently criticised for wearing an Alexander McQueen gown to a state dinner.
