American President Barack Obama’s elder daughter Malia Obama is creating a buzz in the fashion circuit. Malia, 13, is matching her mother, Michelle Obama’s footsteps when it comes to height and fashion. Model-like thin Malia has already outdone her mother in height, she’s more than 5’9” and still growing.
Her recent appearances clearly show her budding sense of style, be it her dress- stockings look, or the skirt and bow blouse with biker boots, or the relaxed coloured pants with ballerinas. Despite the braces on her teeth, Malia looks like a true fashionista already. Designer Nida Mahmood says, “Malia Obama is quite a fashionista. She picks up key elements of fashion and blends them into her style. Just like Michelle, Malia has a strong sense for classic styling. Even at such a young age, she has a great sense of mixing colour and silhouette, teaming it with the right hair and accessories.”
Another noticeable thing is that Malia is no more seen in childish tight curls. She’s got her hair straightened, either she keeps it loose or ties them in a neat bun just like her mother. Designer Harpreet Narula says, “Malia looks very stylish, has an uncanny resemblance with her stylish mom and a tall structure which could establish her as a perfect muse for
any designer.” Malia’s elegant body posture is also being talked about. Kirti Rai, body language expert says, “Malia walks with confidence — straight back, open shoulders and the positive body language makes her stand out in public”.
