Photographers at the HT Mumbai’s Most Stylish 2013 awards went wild over the Bachchans. We’d asked Abhishek Bachchan, one of the 20 winners of the HT Mumbai’s Most Stylish 2013 awards, to present his father Amitabh Bachchan with the Timeless Style
Icon award on our behalf.
Our reasoning: No one knows Bachchan Sr better than Bachchan Jr and though Amitabh is worshipped by his fans, no one could possibly admire him more than his son does.
And now we know that we were absolutely correct. When the two Bachchans stepped out of the hall after mingling with the other winners and receiving their awards, the paparazzi asked Amitabh to pose again.
As he obliged, Abhishek stood on the sidelines and encouraged the photographers to beg for more pictures. “Aur chillao, aur chillao (shout more, shout more),” he told photographers.
