Party look for plus-size women

Forget weight worries and get ready to look glam at parties.
Forget weight worries and get ready to look glam at parties.
1 Silhouette trick:
Fusion wear, if chosen carefully, can have a slimming effect. A slim kurti worn with pencil fit pants or a lehenga worn with a shirt-like choli can create a slimming illusion.
2 Right pairing:
Team up tights with a loose kaftan or a flattering tunic as the clothes that are too tight create bulges and lumps. Wear clothes that skim over areas that you want to hide. Instead of choosing a mini skirt, hide bigger thighs with a floaty skirt and a beautiful velvet kurta, i.e. declare the cool ’70s spirit back.
3 Cuts and colours:
Long or full length sleeves and long bell sleeves are recommended. Avoid horizontal stripes; wear vertical stripes to look taller and thinner. In colours, black should be preferred. However avoid an all-black look as it can look boring and a bit depressing. You can team black with striking fuchsia or a Persian red in your outfit for a party look.

Accessorise right:
Highlight the neck with a beautiful, striking neck piece, or a colourful scarf that goes with the whole look. Wear eye-catching accessories but avoid loading yourself with too many of them. Makeup should be balanced — if the lips are red, then the rest of the face should be subtle. If you accentuate your eyes with glitters, then keep makeup on the face nude and minimal as possible.
5 Attitude check:
Lastly, it’s your attitude and the way you carry yourself that puts together the entire look. Always be confident about what you are wearing and you might be the one to start a new trend.
