Pregnancy shouldn’t be a dampener

Amanda Peet didn’t let her baby bump prevent her from dressing up. Take a cue and pick pretty prints in fabrics that won’t cling to your body.
Add layers

A part sheer bodice and plenty of layers ensure that Kate Mara’s dress is anything but boring. If not as part of the same dress, you can add light jackets, stoles and capes to keep things interesting.
Keep it classy

Michelle Monaghan offset the full sleeves with a side slit to add just the right edge to a classic gown. Always opt for showing skin either at the top or bottom, and never both.

Play to your strengths

Sofia Vergara showcased her curves in a flattering tube dress that hugged her body in the right places. You know your body best; pick an asset (or two) that you’d like to highlight, and work it to your advantage.

Don’t go overboard

Her gown being edgy and making quite a statement by itself, Camila Alves wisely went easy on the make-up and accessories. Chunky jewellery or bright lipstick can easily overcook such a look.
