Time for a big dose of glam

Fashion, glamour and a lot of celeb glitz is on its way back to the capital, as the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) spring-summer 2014 is set to be held between October 9 and 13. The fashion extravaganza, this time will feature 113 designers showcasing their creations .

Fashion, glamour and a lot of celeb glitz is on its way back to the capital, as the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) spring-summer 2014 is set to be held between October 9 and 13. The fashion extravaganza, which will be held at Pragati Maidan in the Capital, will feature 113 designers showcasing their creations through runway shows and exhibits.

While designers Masaba Gupta and Anupama Dayal will open WIFW, Ashish N Soni will close the fashion week with his grand finale show. Other designers who will display their collections include Namrata Joshipura, Sanchita and Gauri & Nainika.

Speaking about the five-day event, Atul Chand, divisional chief executive, ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing Business Division, says, “WIFW has always set new benchmarks with every edition, in showcasing India’s leading designers and their signature flair and creativity. Wills Lifestyle has also taken the unique initiative of partnering with India’s leading designers to retail the exclusive co-creations at the stores.”

These designers include Rohit Bal, Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna, JJ Valaya, Ritu Kumar and Ranna Gill.
