After Kate Perry, Britney Spears will don an ensemble by Manish Arora. Perry wore a piece from Arora’s Circus collection recently for her concert. Spears will embark on a world tour in spring 2009. Coincidentally, the tour is also titled

. Since it’s Spears’ first tour in the last five years, it is highly awaited by her fans who have stood by her all through her tumultuous ups and downs.

Arora is not divulging details on the tie-up because of contractual obligations. All he said was, “Yes, I have sent some pieces to her and my agents are working on it.”

Did it happen because his Swing dress, worn by Kate Perry, had made headlines? Arora says, “Maybe. I think most pop stars and their stylists attend the Fashion Week in Paris and probably my show there caught their attention.”

So if Manish Arora’s Circus blends with Britney Spears’ tour, the results would be dramatic. Right now, Spears’ comeback track, Womaniser, is high on the charts.
