Uttarakhand to launch scheme offering free online coaching for competitive exams
The Uttarakhand government is set to launch the Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026, offering free online coaching for competitive exams.
The Uttarakhand government will soon launch the Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026, under which students pursuing higher education in the state will be provided free online coaching for competitive examinations.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has already approved the scheme and will formally launch it soon. The date for the launch is yet to be decided.
The scheme is aimed at providing young aspirants with access to quality guidance and study material for competitive examinations. Students studying in universities as well as government and government-aided colleges across Uttarakhand will be eligible for the online coaching.
The coaching will cover examinations including Civil Services (UPSC/PSC), Defence Services (CDS), banking, railways and SSC. It will also include preparation for entrance and eligibility examinations such as CAT, MAT, GATE, NET and CSIR-NET.
The government said the initiative will allow students to access coaching and guidance from home. It is expected to be particularly useful for students studying in remote and hilly parts of Uttarakhand, where access to specialised coaching may be limited.
The scheme will also benefit students who cannot afford private coaching because of financial constraints. By providing online coaching free of cost, the government aims to give them an opportunity to prepare for competitive examinations with access to structured guidance and study material.
The decision to introduce a dedicated scheme for competitive examination preparation was taken by the state government to provide better opportunities to young people in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026 has subsequently been approved as part of that initiative.
Once the scheme is formally launched, the process of providing online coaching to eligible students will begin.
The government has not yet specified the date of the formal launch or provided further details on the enrolment process and the platform through which the coaching will be delivered.
