Doctors attending him said Anna's health had improved over the last few days and he responded well to the medication. Anna left the hospital around 8.30am and headed for Bangalore, where he would take naturopathy treatment.

“Anna will go to Bangalore for naturopathy treatment. He’s doing well now. He also walked a bit on Wednesday morning,” said a member of Team Anna.

Though arrangements were made to avoid heavy rush, his supporters managed to get a quick glance of their leader.

Dr Naresh Trehan, managing director of the hospital, said, “He left the hospital in the morning. He responded well to medication and showed signs of improvement.”

On Wednesday, Anna's blood pressure was registered at 140/80, while the pulse rate was 72. He was kept on low sodium diet. Earlier, Anna had complained of congestion, backache and swelling in the body.
