The company was found guilty of unfair trade and practices, which include fudging its client 67-year-old JN Malik’s signature and other details, to gain higher premium. Besides, it used fraudulent means to insure his daughter Mrinalini, 40.

In his complaint, Malik has contended that he made the payment by sending a cheque of R25,000 to the company to insure his life and not of his daughter’s.
